Dear colleagues and readers,
we are pleased to present Volume 3, Issue 1 of Contemporary Mediterranean. The journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access, multidisciplinary area studies journal published by the University of Dubrovnik.

The journal aims to provide a forum for current research in contemporary Mediterranean studies. The journal defines the Mediterranean as a region that encompasses all the countries and territories that have access to the Mediterranean Sea.

The journal accepts high-quality, previously unpublished papers in Croatian and English, from information and communication sciences, political science, sociology, contemporary history, cultural studies, and other related disciplines. The journal is published online in a yearly volume.
