Contemporary Mediterranean

Dear colleagues and readers,
we are pleased to present the first issue of the journal Contemporary Mediterranean. The journal is a peer-reviewed, open access, multidisciplinary area studies journal published by the University of Dubrovnik.

The journal aims to provide a forum for current research in contemporary Mediterranean studies. The journal defines the Mediterranean as a region that encompasses all the countries and territories that have access to the Mediterranean Sea.

The journal accepts high-quality, previously unpublished papers in Croatian and English, from the fields of political science, sociology, contemporary history, cultural studies, information and communication sciences, and other related disciplines. The journal is published online in a yearly volume.
